Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don’t know what to think! When you start a book in the morning and end up finishing it a ten o’clock that same night that means you loved it, right? I’m debating on putting it on my top ten list because this book gave me all the feels and I really liked it. I have to congratulate Rainbow Rowell on her phenomenal book that is a romance (I prefer romance crossed with some other genre), but I loved anyway. The characters were adorable together especially Park and Eleanor; I despised Richie more than I despised Madoc in The Wicked King, or Cardan in The Cruel Prince. But I have one question, that ends up spiraling into about a million more questions. What happens next? It’s pretty obvious that the postcard Elenor sent Park was her declaration of love, but what happens in their relationship after that? Where did Elenor’s mom go and what about her siblings? Is Richie ever going to get what he deserves? and most importantly will Elenor and Park get back together? I need to know! I need a sequel! This book was published SIX years ago, how have I not been able to read it until now??? I need a sequel! I need to know what happens next, and if I can’t get it I might have to venture into the dark cave of Fanfiction :). I was so mad when we found out what Richie had done to all of Elenor’s things, although I kind of saw it coming. Not the entire reveal, just that bad things were coming; all while Elenor was going home, my stomach was doing flips, because I knew something bad was going to happen. I have to say again that I HATE Richie probably more than any other book villain before (yes, even more than Voldemort, who I just loved to hate). Phew! Now that I have that out of my system I have a few physical books waiting on my shelves, begging me to read them.
