Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh I loved this one! Ginny was adorable and Fred and George were so funny (as always). Percy (also always) was a complete bore, but I am happy to announce my Harry Potter essay is very close to being finished. I am still awed by how little Harry is in these books, and how he is able to so such amazing things. I just have to say this book is great. I really disliked Professor Lockhart, although, who in the world does? He’s almost as bad a Umbridge. Draco was terrible and Hagrid was hilarious. Even though he can be a pain, I love Dobby and the scene at the end where Harry aids him to be free was just so cute and happy. At the end, when Tom riddle had taken Harry’s wand and was twirling it maliciously, all I could do was yell (in my head, I don’t want to freak out my family too much) about how he was going to summon the basilisk and how Harry had to get out of there. The basilisk fight itself lasted for a lot less time than I remember, but that’s probably because the last time I saw this story was in movie form and they dragged the fight out as long as they could then. Awesome and adorable book, and I still think that Ginny is one of the best characters in the series, even though there are many people who disagree with me. You know who you are XD !
